About this Program

The Graduate Summer Institute of Epidemiology and Biostatistics features short, intensive courses designed to strengthen your understanding of epidemiologic principles, methodological approaches, and the practical application of research methods.

Courses range from half-day sessions to immersive two-to-five week offerings and are available in flexible formats—live online (synchronous), self-paced online (asynchronous), and in person—to fit your schedule. Open to learners worldwide, the Institute welcomes both degree-seeking students and individuals seeking to enhance professional skills. Courses may be taken for professional development or for academic credit toward a degree.

Since 1983, the Institute has trained thousands of participants, including graduate students, clinicians, public health practitioners, physicians in training, and individuals exploring careers in public health.
