Call for Proposals: HOPES Suicide Prevention Exploratory Translation and Practice Projects
The Johns Hopkins HUB for Outreach, Prevention, and Epidemiology in Suicide (HOPES) Initiative is excited to announce a new small grant program for BSPH-affiliated students and faculty focused on suicide research and translation, with awards of up to $25,000 (faculty) and $5,000 (students). Projects that include community or practice partners in co-design, data collection, or other substantive project activities may request an additional $5,000 for faculty projects or $1,000 for student projects to compensate partners for their time and expertise.
We are interested in projects that:
- extend evidence-based practices to diverse and/or impacted populations;
- generate new insight that moves knowledge closer to real-world practice; and/or
- promote the uptake and scale-up of best practices
The deadline for this opportunity is April 10, 2026
