Dean’s Fellowship in Public Health Leadership (Full-time Master's Programs)

The Dean’s Fellowship in Public Health Leadership is a new innovative training program that integrates financial support, applied work experience, peer learning, and formal leadership training as a comprehensive experience for students who seek to become leaders in public health.

Applicants admitted to certain full-time master's programs at the Bloomberg School are automatically considered. No separate application is required. Reviewers will look for fellows who submit outstanding master’s degree applications that demonstrate the ability and drive to become leaders in public health.

Fellows are provided a $10,000 scholarship in the first year of their degree program, a dedicated faculty mentor, a guaranteed work experience with their mentor, connection to a cohort of peer leaders from different degree programs, and placement in a course on public health leadership that is taught by Dean Keshia Pollack Porter, PhD ‘06, MPH. Upon graduation, Dean’s Leadership Fellows are expected to make a significant impact as leaders in the public health workforce.
